This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to rescue a person in contact with low voltage live electrical conductors.

Note:
It is a requirement of the Electrical Safety Regulation (2002) contained within the Queensland Electrical Safety Act (2002) that "An employer must ensure workers who are required to perform, or help in performing electrical work are competent in rescue and resuscitation in accordance with recognized practices in the electricity industry".

This course is valid for 6 months in Queensland.

Facilities & Equipment:
Each participant will be provided with all of the intellectual materials required to study all modules. Each program will also be supported with adequate Teaching Aids to assist with the theory and practical training modules such as CPR manikins, Bandages, Visual Aids, Handouts etc as appropriate.
